What will you work on as a Backend Developer?
- The Application Development unit consists of about 80 people and focuses on creating, developing, and maintaining custom projects for our clients worldwide. Currently, we are looking for someone to support a team dedicated to one of our long-term clients in the leasing industry, delivering various projects across the entire corporate client ecosystem.
Who will you work with?

You will join a team of 15 people, including Mid and Senior Developers, an Analyst, an Architect, and a Team Manager. When needed, the team is also supported by UX/UI Designers.

The team mostly uses Agile methodologies and focuses on code quality through code reviews, unit tests, and pair programming.
What tasks await you in this role?
-
designing and developing solutions according to the client's requirements described by the analyst;
-
collaborating with the project team throughout the entire SDLC;
-
ensuring high code quality through code reviews and unit tests;
-
participating in collaborative task estimations;
-
running workshops with the client and collaboratively developing solutions;
-
working in Agile methodologies;
-
developing your skills towards a Senior or Fullstack Developer role.
You are the one we’re looking for, if:
- you have the following skills:
-
about 4 years of commercial experience as a developer;
-
knowledge of Java 11+, Spring 5+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate;
-
experience with Tomcat, JPA, Agentic AI Development/Vibecoding;
-
knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, MSsql, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, OracleDB;
-
familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI;
-
experience with Docker/Podman;
-
knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, Gradle, Maven);
-
experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ;
-
knowledge of JUnit or another unit testing framework;
-
understanding of basic code quality principles (SOLID, design patterns, etc.);
-
familiarity with teamwork practices (e.g., code review, pair programming);
-
nice to have: degree in a related IT field, knowledge of Camunda, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Nexus;

You can expect the following 4 recruitment stages:
1. CV screening - we read about your experience and make sure that it matches our needs.
2. Phone interview - during these 30 minutes the recruiter describes the role further and asks a few questions (i.e. about your expectations and notice period).
3. Technical interview - with the recruiter and the Architect, who will verify your skills. The online meeting lasts about 45 minutes.
4. Meeting with the Team Manager - where you will learn the details about the project rhythm and collaboration, and discuss the business side of working with the client. The meeting lasts about 45 minutes.
5. The decision, which is presented to you about 2 weeks after the interview.
